When you travel to New Hampshire, never check into a hotel under a false name. It’s considered assault! And under a similarly ancient law, you can’t operate any machines on Sundays.

5 Weird New Hampshire Laws

• Inhaling bus exhaust fumes with the intent of inducing a euphoric state is prohibited.
• Checking into a hotel under an alternate name is deemed assault.
• In the White Mountain National Forest, you could face a $150 fine for “unauthorized conversion of a national forest” if you pick up or haul away trash, construct benches in the park, or perform many other activities without a permit.
