Aspen, Colorado is one of the most famous ski resorts in the world. This is primarily due to the high annual snowfall, which contributes to ideal conditions for skiing and a perhaps overly boisterous tourism industry. Aspen resorts have around forty ski lifts and approximately 316 mi groomed runs.
